The True Meaning of Christmas

We look forward to celebrating Christmas and get busy with Christmas party, holiday decorations, Christmas carols, cards and gifts every year. So we have forgotten the true meaning of Christmas and why we celebrate Christmas at the first place, which is more important than all those Christmas celebrations. What will we give back to God for what He has done for us – sacrificing His only Son to bring hope for the future? Think about it!

16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.

~ John 3:16-18 (New International Version)
