Forgiveness

Forgiving others who hurt our feelings is not easy. In fact, when you refuse to forgive, the person who will get hurt more are yourselves.  As a Christian and Jesus followers, forgiving others is a must.  Why should we forgive people who hurt our feeling? The answer is very simple :

because God forgives our sins

14) For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. 15) But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.
~ Matthew 6 : 14 – 15 NIV

33) Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. 32) Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.
~ Ephesians 4 : 31 – 32 NIV

Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.
~Colossians 3 : 13 NIV
