Love the LORD your God and keep his requirements, his decrees, his laws and his commands always.
~ Deuteronomy 11 : 1 NIV

8)Observe therefore all the commands I am giving you today, so that you may have the strength to go in and take over the land that you are crossing the Jordan to possess, 9) and so that you may live long in the land that the LORD swore to your forefathers to give to them and their descendants, a land flowing with milk and honey.

13) So if you faithfully obey the commands I am giving you today – to love the LORD your God and to serve him will all your heart and with all your soul – 14) then I will send rain on your land in its season, both autumn and spring rains, so that you may gather in your grain, new wine and oil. 15) I will provide grass in the fields for your cattle, and you will eat and be satisfied.

Disobedience

Conversely here below is what the Bible says about disobedience to God

If you do whatever I command you and walk in my ways and do what is right in my eyes by keeping my statutes and commands, as David my servant did, I will be with you. I will build you a dynasty as enduring as the one I built for David and will give Israel to you.
~ 1 Kings 11 : 38 NIV

21) I have told you today, but you still have not obeyed the LORD your God in all he sent me to tell you. 22) So now, be sure of this: You will die by the sword, famine and plague in the place where you want to go to settle.”

As obedient children, do not conform to the evil desires you had when you live in ignorance.

and, “A stone that causes men to stumble and a rock that makes them fall” They stumble because they disobey the message – which is also what they were destined for.
